<p>An electronic device (1) for analysis of a fluid by means of a test strip with an indicator surface holding a reactive surface region, includes a processing unit, memory, display means, receiving means for a test strip, an optical detector, and a casing. Within the casing the processing unit is coupled to the memory and to the display means. The optical detector is arranged in the receiving means and coupled to the processing unit.
