An electricity storage system (100) is provided with: an inner housing (12); an air inlet (33) that is provided in the side surface of the inner housing (12); an air intake fan (32) that is provided on the outer side of the inner housing (12) such that the air inlet (33) is covered with the air intake fan; a heater (34) that is provided on the inner side of the inner housing (12) by being adjacent to the air inlet (33); and a storage battery (42) that is provided on the inner side of the inner housing (12) above the air inlet (33). The electricity storage system (100) may be also provided with a blocking member (39) that is provided between the storage battery (42) and the heater (34). The air inlet (33) may be provided in one side surface among the four side surfaces constituting the inner housing (12). The electricity storage system (100) may be also provided with: an air-releasing fan (26) that is provided above the electricity storage battery (42); and a control unit, which operates the air intake fan (32) and the heater (34) and stops the air-releasing fan (26) in the cases of heating the storage battery (42), and which operates the air intake fan (32) and the air-releasing fan (26) and stops the heater (34) in the cases of cooling the storage battery (42).
