A method for managing asset backed securities according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: processing a loan for a user with intellectual property rights within a loan limit using the intellectual property rights as security to issue a loan; issuing asset backed securities using the loan as security, and processing the investment in the asset backed securities according to an investor′s investment request on the asset backed securities. Thus, the present invention can issue asset backed securities, based on a loan using intellectual property rights as security and can process the investment in the asset backed securities, according to an investor′s investment request on the asset backed securities to process investment in other businesses using investments, thereby securitizing assets.
