<p>Disclosed are a mobile terminal capable of processing input by internal and external input classification and a method thereof. The input processing method by the internal and external input classification comprises a sensing step of sensing an input event; a determination step of determining whether the input event is an internal input event or an external input event; an internal input processing step of transmitting and processing the input event to an internal input program processing the internal input event among running programs if the input event is the internal input even based on the determined result; and an external input processing step of transmitting and processing the input event to an external input program processing the external input event among the running programs if the input event is the external input even based on the determined result.
