PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely and easily set a setting and modification of an appropriate heat exchange amount of a belt-like body and to drastically improve temperature change readiness.SOLUTION: A heat-exchange controlling apparatus 15 is used in a manufacturing line 14 of a belt-like body 12 that manufactures a belt-like body 12 through conveying the belt-like body 12 rolling in contact with conveyance rolls. At least one of the conveyance rolls is composed of a heating roll (heat-exchange roll) 16 that gives heat to the belt-like body 12 or takes heat from the belt-like body 12. The heat-exchange controlling apparatus 15 has a path change mechanism Pc1 for the belt-like body 12 capable of changing a distance (angle &thetas;) at which the belt-like body 12 is made to have contact with the heat-exchange roll 16 when the belt-like body 12 is conveyed.
