PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door stop capable of keeping a door open when a lock plate is attracted by a magnet, the door stop being configured to hold the door at a predetermined position.SOLUTION: A door stop comprises a door stop body incorporating a magnet and a lock plate formed from a corresponding magnetic substance. In a lock, a locked part formed from a transparent window including an opening edge in parallel with a horizontal support shaft is formed in a distal end portion. The door stop includes a lock protrusion having such a length that a distal end portion of a locked body in which the magnet raises the lock plate with a magnetic force, can be inserted and locked with movement of a door and a distal end face is settled along the opening edge, has such an energizing force that the lock protrusion is pushed away by a distal end portion of the lock plate, and keeps an opening state of the door by engaging the lock part and the locked part. When a force exceeding a sum of the magnetic force and the energizing force acts on the door, the lock protrusion is removed from the locked part and disengaged from the locked part, and the door stop body and the lock are disengaged. |
