PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a smooth scroll when a list display in which images are arranged in a plurality of rows and columns is scrolled.SOLUTION: A portable terminal 103 performs index display in which thumb nail images 601 of images in a digital camera 101 are arranged in a tile shape. When a user performs drag operation on a touch panel 410, the thumb nail list display can be scrolled. In this case, while the drag operation is performed, only the thumb nail images on the head of the rows are displayed, and images prepared in a dedicated application 104 in advance indicating reading of images are displayed instead of displaying the thumb nail images other than the head of the rows. By thus processing, in scroll by drag operation, the thumb nail images in the vicinity of a point focused by the user can be acquired from the digital camera 101 and displayed in a discrete and efficient manner. |
