PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate the quality of a printing state even when each character cannot be detected because the resolution of the character is insufficient.SOLUTION: A print inspection device includes: detection means detecting a first character string from a captured image captured by imaging means; recognition means recognizing the first character string detected by the detection means; first determination means collating the recognition result of the first character string recognized by the recognition means with print data, to determine the quality of the printing state of the first character string; decision means deciding the inspection region of a second character string from a relative positional relationship with the first character string, based on that it is determined that the printing state of the first character string is excellent by the first determination means; and second determination means analyzing the inspection region decided by the decision means, to determine the quality of the printing state to the second character string in the inspection region. |
