MULTILAYER SHEET AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING MULTILAYER FOAM SHEET

Provided are: a multilayer foam sheet which has improved contamination resistance; and a novel method for producing a multilayer sheet that is useful for the production of the multilayer foam sheet. A method for producing a multilayer sheet in which a foaming agent-containing resin layer and a surface protective layer are sequentially formed on a base. This method for producing a multilayer sheet is characterized in that the surface protective layer is formed of a single layer or a plurality of layers and at least one layer constituting the surface protective layer contains a polyethylene and/or an ethylene copolymer, and this method is also characterized by comprising the following steps 1-3. (1) a step 1 wherein the foaming agent-containing resin layer is formed on the base (2) a step 2 wherein the surface protective layer is formed on the foaming agent-containing resin layer by extrusion film forming (3) a step 3 wherein the polyethylene and/or the ethylene copolymer is crosslinked by electron beam irradiation from the surface protective layer side.
