The purpose of the invention is to provide an information search system, an information search method, and a program in which data pertaining to speech can be searched in an accurate manner, even when a word that does not readily appear as a recognition result is the query. The present invention is an information search system having: a calculation means for calculating a query language model, which is a language model for the inputted word or word group; an extraction means for referencing a storage means for storing the results of performing speech recognition on speech data using a speech recognition language model, and extracting, from the results, a result having a high degree of similarity with the query language model as match data; a first updating means for updating the speech recognition language model using the match data; and a second updating means for updating the results stored in the storage means using the updated speech recognition language model. The extraction means extracts, from the updated results, a result having a high degree of similarity with the query language model, and outputs a search result which is data corresponding to the extracted result. |
