<p>Disclosed is an information processing apparatus including: a plurality of batteries; a power-source unit for charging the plurality of batteries; a charge-status acquisition unit for obtaining the charge amount of each of the plurality of batteries and the sum total of the charge amounts of the plurality of batteries; a charge-candidate battery selection unit for determining charge-candidate batteries, which are the batteries requiring charging among the plurality of batteries, and for determining the number of the batteries, on the basis of the charge amount of each of the plurality of batteries and the sum total of the charge amounts of the plurality of batteries obtained by the charge-status acquisition unit; a charge-characteristic determination unit for determining subject batteries, which are batteries to be charged, and the charge-power groups, so as to charge the charge-candidate batteries using a value obtained by dividing the maximum supply power, which is the power that can be supplied by the power-source unit, by the number of charge-candidate batteries, and using a charging power, which is a lower maximum receivable power representing the maximum power that can be received by the charge-candidate batteries; and a charge-control unit for controlling the subject batteries determined by the charge-characteristic determination unit so as to charge the batteries with the charging power using the power-source unit.</p> |
