Disclosed is a method for producing nanometer lithopone from low-grade zinc oxide ore compound waste gypsum. The method comprises specific steps of: leaching, purifying, carrying out a metathetical reaction, washing, smashing and the like. According to the method, zinc is leached out selectively by an ammonia-ammonium sulfate process; heavy metal elements such as nickel, copper, lead, cadmium and the like are removed by combining an iron and arsenic removal method using ammonium persulphate, a sulfurization method and a zinc powder replacement method; and a metathetical reaction carried out to obtain an nZnS-BaSO4 superfine crystalline filter cake, and the crystalline filter cake is dried and smashed to obtain a nanometer lithopone product. According to the method, the quality of the obtained lithopone product is good, a zinc raw material used for production is provided by a low-grade zinc oxide ore, and sulfate radical is provided by waste gypsum; and zinc in the low-grade zinc oxide can be recycled, resource utilization of the waste gypsum is implemented, the production cost is low, and the operation is simple.
|
