摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passive fluidics circuit capable of directing different fluids toward a common volume such as a reaction chamber or flow cell, etc. without entailing the mixing or cross contamination thereof.SOLUTION: Directions and velocities of flows streaming through junctions 335, nodal points 301, and passages of a fluidics circuit 302 are controlled depending on the opening or closure of an upstream valve, fluid pressure differences, flow path resistances, etc. of inlets 304, 306, 308, 310, and/or 312 of the circuit or an upstream storage unit. The free diffusion or leak of a fluid from a non-selected inlet in relation to a common outlet or another inlet specific to a junction or nodal point is prevented by the flow of the fluid through a selected inlet, whereas a portion of the flow of the fluid through the selected inlet passes through the vicinity of the non-selected fluid inlet and streams out of the fluidics circuit past a refuse port 345. A barrier against undesirable mixing with an outlet flow due to leak or diffusion is thus formed.
