PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image formation device capable of preventing pressure required for initiating ejection when idly ejecting ink.SOLUTION: A printer comprises: a nozzle hole for ejecting ink droplet; individual liquid chambers for storing ink separated into ink droplets; a piezoelectric actuator for generating pressure in an ejected liquid chamber; and a control portion and the like for controlling imaging operation of ejecting the ink droplets to a sheet of paper to form an image and idle ejection operation of idly ejecting the ink droplets except for the imaging operation. The control portion drives the piezoelectric actuator as an idle ejection to generate pressure smaller than pressure generated when ejecting the ink droplets, and after executing a fluctuating process for fluctuating ink in the individual liquid chambers, executes an idle ejection process for idle ejection. |
