PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL device that prevents entry of moisture into an organic EL element.SOLUTION: An organic EL device has a cross-section structure in which an organic EL element 12, a sealing layer 7, and a moisture-proof member 11 are mounted on a substrate 2. The organic EL element 12 has a first electrode layer 3, a functional layer 5, and a second electrode layer 6. The sealing layer 7 seals part of the organic EL element 12. The moisture-proof member 11 is separately molded on the sealing layer 7. In the organic EL device, a light-emitting region 30 that actually emits light exists when the substrate 2 is viewed in a plan view. The organic EL device has a hard resin layer 10 that surrounds the light-emitting region 30. The organic EL device has a configuration in which the moisture-proof member 11 is supported by the hard resin layer 10. |
