PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat comprising a seat back in which that when weight of passengers seated is applied by impact to a seat back, a seat back frame with simple structure is deflected backward to deform so that impact energy can be absorbed by rearward bias.SOLUTION: A vehicle seat comprises a seat back frame 1 in a frame shape composed of: left and right side frame portions 10a and 10b; an upper frame portion 11 across upper portions of the side frame portions 10a and 10b; and a lower frame portion 12 across lower portions of the side frame portions 10a and 10b. Left and right side bracket portions 12a and 12b for attaching the lower frame portion 12 to lower edges of the side frame portions 10a and 10b to be fastened are folded forward and disposed integrally with the lower frame portion 12. On rear lateral edges of the left and right side bracket portions 12a and 12b is disposed a constricted portion 13 for absorbing impact due to deflection and deformation of the seat back frame 1. |
