PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce leakage and scattering of developer in cloud development to reduce scumming and stains inside a device.SOLUTION: A developing device includes: a cloud roller 13d that conveys a toner that is a developer to a photoreceptor drum 11; odd number-side electrodes 21 and even number-side electrodes 22 provided on the cloud roller 13d, and covered with a surface protective layer 24 that is an insulator to the odd number-side electrodes; a driving circuit that applies an AC voltage in which a potential difference between the odd number-side electrodes 21 and even number-side electrodes 22 is temporally inverted to make the developer into a cloud state; a seal member 13f that seals inside and outside of a developing device 13 in a non-contact state when the toner on the cloud roller 13d after development enters inside the developing device 13; and a discharge air flow exhaust path 13g that is provided to the seal member 13f, and communicates the inside and outside of the developing device 13. A high-pressure discharge air flow G1 inside the developing device 13 is exhausted from the discharge air flow exhaust path 13g. |
