PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the sliding resistance of a piston in a cylinder bore.SOLUTION: In a cylinder block 11, communication passages 51 are formed which communicate between adjacent cylinder bores 11a. The communication passages 51 each have a first opening 51a which opens in a region from an intermediate position P4 between a compression chamber side end face 30e of a piston 30 when the piston 30 reaches an upper dead center position P1 and a crank chamber side end face 111 of the cylinder block 11 to the crank chamber side end face 111 of the cylinder block 11 in the counter rotating direction of a swash plate in the cylinder block 11. The communication passages 51 each have a second opening 51b which opens in a region between a compression chamber side end face 112 of the cylinder block 11 and the crank chamber side end face 111 of the cylinder block 11 in the rotating direction of the swash plate in the cylinder block 11. |
