A light adjusting device (1) provided with first and second base plates (3, 4) arranged parallel to each other at a predetermined interval and having openings (3c, 4c), a rotating shaft member (11) attached so as to be able to rotate with respect to the first and second base plates (3, 4), a driving part (2) for rotating the rotating shaft member (11), an incident light adjusting part (6) provided with a light adjusting function and joined so as to rotate integrally with the rotating shaft member (11), and an annular protruding part (6e) for increasing the joining surface area of a joining portion between the rotating shaft member (11) and the incident light adjusting part (6), the light adjusting device (1) for rotating the incident light adjusting part (6) through use of the driving part (2) via the rotating shaft member (11) and displacing the incident light adjusting part (6) to a position of insertion into or withdrawal from the optical path of incident light passing through the openings (3c, 4c). |
