The device (10) has a cushion (12) for supporting a head of a vehicle seat (14). The vehicle seat is provided with a backrest (20). A conveyor (36) is arranged in the cushion for conveying a medium. The cushion is stored in a receptacle (44), and is adjustable from stowed position to in-use position through an opening (46) of the receptacle. A lid element is adapted for closing the opening during stowed position of the cushion.
