PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dishwasher capable of detecting waste water merged into a hot water tank.SOLUTION: A dishwasher has: a washing step of washing dishes contained in a washing chamber by injecting washing water in a washing tank into the washing chamber, to wash dishes contained in the washing chamber; and a rinsing step of rinsing the dishes contained in the washing chamber, with the water in the washing tank. The dishwasher comprises dirt detection means 180, 190 and 200 for detecting the dirty situation of water in the washing tank 18. Therefore, in the case where the water in the washing tank 18 is contaminated, this contamination can be detected to avoid rinsing with the contaminated water so that the rinsing can be always performed with clean water. Thus, it is possible to avoid the problem that a contaminant such as a washing agent is left on tableware after rinsed. |
