PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode body including an active material layer which has low internal resistance and is hardly peeled off from a substrate, a method of manufacturing the electrode body, and a battery including the electrode body.SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing an electrode body including a substrate and an active material layer containing an electrode active material comprises: a modification layer forming step of forming a modification layer containing a component chemically bondable to the electrode active material, on a surface of the substrate; a mixed layer forming step of forming a mixed layer comprising a mixed composition containing a raw material for the electrode active material and a flux, on the modification layer; an active material production step of subjecting the mixed layer to heat treatment, active energy ray irradiation, or plasma treatment to produce the electrode active material from the raw material for the electrode active material; and a flux removal step of removing the flux. The electrode body is manufactured by the method, and the battery includes the electrode body.
