PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a stable reading image by correcting offset variations by the pixel unit in an unmagnification optical system using a close-contact image sensor, thus ensuring a dynamic range.SOLUTION: The image reading apparatus includes: an image data retention section (a first line memory 140, a second line memory 141) that retains digital data of each pixel after image reading from CIS 130; a data retention control section 186 that controls inputs/outputs of digital data retained in the image data retention section; and offset correction section 187 that reads out digital data of each pixel after image reading with the data retention control section 186, superimposes a preset attenuation value for the digital data of each pixel, and corrects and outputs the digital data of each pixel after image reading. |
