A vessel for carrying low-temperature liquefied gases comprises an outer hull 1, an inner hull 3 as cargo hold integrated with outer hull 1 by longitudinal and transverse framings 2 so as to support the cargoes, thermal insulation 4 lined inside the inner hull 3 and bulkheads 5 each connected to the inner hull by flexible means. In Fig. 4 (not shown), the flexible means comprises a wall portion (3<SP>1</SP>) spaced from, and connected at each side of the bulkhead to, the inner hull, the wall portion (3<SP>1</SP>) being able to flex to accommodate expansion or contraction of the bulkhead. In another embodiment, Fig. 5 (not shown), the flexible means comprises a wall portion (3<SP>1</SP>) of the inner hull which can flex to accommodate expansion or contraction of the bulkhead.</p> |
