PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic document management system in which security of electronic data increases.SOLUTION: A terminal 200 used for an electronic document management system 200 comprises: a division data input unit 910 for accepting an input of division data (for example, fraction data) from outside; a division data storage unit 920 for storing fraction data; a proximity determination unit 930 for determining whether or not the terminal 200 is within a range in which the terminal 200 is communicable with another terminal; a communication unit 940 for communicating with another terminal or a document division server; a coupling unit 950 for coupling division data retained in another terminal that is received through the communication unit 940 with division data stored in the division data storage unit 920; and an output unit 960 for outputting generated document data 210.
