The present invention relates to an oil product identification marker. This invention, which is colored as a result of ion selective reactions by coloring agents containing dissolved metal ion compounds, includes chemical compounds denoted by the following chemical formula 1. [Chemical formula 1] In the chemical formula 1, R1 is an alkyl group with a carbon number of 1 through 12 containing or not containing a hydrogen atom or an ether group (-O-), while R2 and R3 are independently a hydrogen atom or a methyl group, respectively and X1 and X2 independently represent a hydroxyl (-OH) group or an ethyl amine (-NHC2H5) group, respectively.
