<p>A method and device for in-air gesture identification applied in a terminal is disclosed in the embodiments of the present invention, wherein, the method comprises: obtaining instantaneous point position information of an in-air gesture at preset sampling frequency; determining instantaneous trail segments and the corresponding gesture strokes and stroke identification numbers according to the instantaneous point position information; obtaining the corresponding codes of said gesture strokes according to said gesture stroke identification numbers and computed displacements of the instantaneous trail segments; obtaining an in-air gesture code by assembling in fore-and-aft sequence the corresponding gesture stroke codes of all instantaneous trail segments included in the in-air gesture. The technical solutions supplied by the embodiments of the present invention have the advantages of fast identification and high precision.</p> |
