PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a float type liquid level gauge which causes corresponding magnetic detecting means to detect magnetism of an operating shaft moving up and down operatively linked to fluctuation of a float, in a sequentially intermediate point manner, and consequently obtains liquid quantity in a liquid tank properly, thereby enabling the liquid quantity to be reliably managed.SOLUTION: A magnetic operation shaft 2 having a required length is inserted freely movably up and down into a center of a base 1 detachably mounted on a required liquid tank 11, a float 4 and a pointer 5 are fitted to the lower end of the operation shaft 2 and the upper end thereof, respectively. An approximately cylindrical guide body 6 is provided on the base so as to guide the operation shaft 2 up and down, and the required number of magnetism detecting means 8a/8b/8c/8d are arranged in the guide body 6 along the axial line thereof so as to detect the magnetism of the operation shaft 2 moving up and down operatively linked to the fluctuation of the float 4. |
