PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix outer peripheral edge parts of a multi-layer formed product so that the edge parts are kept in the state that the edge parts are adhered to each other, by using a simple, easy and inexpensive method, without integrally molding the multi-layer formed product in which two or more members are overlaid one upon another.SOLUTION: A seal member 24 is fixed over a base material 14 and a surface layer material 16 so as to cover edge boundary parts 22 of predetermined adhesion parts 20 in a state where the adhesion parts 20 are brought into tight contact with each other. Since an outer peripheral edges of the base material 14 and the surface layer material 16 are integrally fixed via the seal member 24, the number of components and the number of processes are smaller than the case of fixing the base material 14 and the surface layer material 16 using a tacker needle and the manufacturing cost can be reduced. Further, the degree of freedom in material or structure of the base material 14 and the surface layer material 16 is higher as compared with the case of integral molding and the present method can be appropriately applied even when a plurality of spaces 18 are provided between the base material 14 and the surface layer material 16 as in the case of a door trim upper 12 in the present example. |
