摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive device for driving a solenoid valve which can detect a short circuit failure in an energization path from the drive device to a coil while suppressing increases in the size and cost of the device configuration.SOLUTION: At an energization start timing, a discharge from a step-up capacitor C1 to a coil 101a by on action of a discharge switch T12, and holding current supply control by on/off control of a constant current switch T11 are started simultaneously or started with one delayed by a delay time. Once an injector 101 opens, the discharge switch T12 is turned off and a holding current holds the open state for a fixed time. The holding current supply is controlled on the basis of a detection value of a current detection resistor R10 disposed downstream of the coil 101a along an energization path. After the energization start timing, at an anomaly determination timing prior to the opening of the injector 101, whether or not a current detected by the current detection resistor R10 exceeds a current threshold is determined, and if the current threshold is not exceeded, an anomaly in the energization path is asserted.
