PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a release tape 11 capable of easily and surely releasing a protective film 109 stuck on the polarizer 107 of a liquid crystal panel 100 and achieving the releasing without affecting productivity, etc., of the liquid crystal panel 100.SOLUTION: A release tape 11 comprises an adhesive part 14 and a non-adhesive part 15. The adhesive part 14 has an adhesive strength equal to or more than an adhesive strength between the polarizer 107 and the protective film 109 of the liquid crystal panel 100 and is formed in one end part of the release tape 11 in a longitudinal direction. The non-adhesive part 15 is formed in the other end part of the release tape 11 in the longitudinal direction. The adhesive parts 14 and the non-adhesive part 15 are adjacently formed in a longitudinal direction of the release tape 11 in the shape that a part of the non-adhesive part 15 is projected in the end part of the adhesive part 14 on the side of non-adhesive part 15 and constitute the release tape 11 having a rectangular outer shape.
