PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a three-dimensional position of an indication object such as a fingertip with respect to a projection image.SOLUTION: An image display device 1 projects an image 101 onto a projection surface 100 by scanning of a laser beam, receives a reflection laser beam by an indication object indicating a part of the projected image 101 by light receiving units 16 and 17 located at different heights with respect to the projection surface 100, and determines by a determination unit 14 a three-dimentional position within the projected image 101 indicated by the indication object on the basis of a detection result by the light receiving unit. The light receiving units each include: lenses 16b and 17b that guide the reflection laser beam by the instruction object; and masking portions 16c and 17c that regulate the reflection laser beam in a hight direction. The masking portions have a curved shape of which both end portions are closer to the lens side than is the center portion. |
