PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a casting mold which enables inexpensive production of a mold having a fine casting surface comparable with that attained by vacuum molding, and a casting method.SOLUTION: A method of producing a casting mold comprises a step of heating a lower film 13, a step of causing the lower film 13 to be adsorbed to a lower wooden mold 11, a step of spraying a lower facing 14 onto the lower film 13 adsorbed to the lower wooden mold 11, a step of mounting a lower metal flask 15 on the lower facing 14, a step of filling a lower metal flask space 16 formed by the lower facing 14 and the lower metal flask 15 with a lower self-curing casting sand 17, a step of stopping adsorption of the lower film 13 to the lower wooden mold 11 and hardening the lower self-curing casting sand 17, a step of reversing the lower metal flask 15 and mounting the lower metal flask 15 on a fixed plate 18, a step of removing the lower wooden mold 11 to complete a lower casting mold 10, a step of completing an upper casting mold 20 by applying the preceding procedure and a step of arranging the upper casting mold 20 on the lower casting mold 10 to complete a casting mold 100. |
