PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect failures of an OR diode by a simple configuration without using an output side signal of the OR diode and without increasing an output voltage to a load.SOLUTION: A power supply device includes: voltage conversion and stabilization means converting and stabilizing an input voltage, and outputting the converted and stabilized input voltage; current detection means detecting an output current, and a counter flow current flown from the exterior of the device; an element OR-connecting an output with an output of the other power supply device; and a controller detecting a current at the current detection means while controlling the voltage conversion stabilization means, and detecting failures of the element depending on the detection. |
