PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle sounding device capable of notifying a pedestrian of the fact that a driver of a vehicle has recognized an obstacle.SOLUTION: The present invention is a vehicle sounding device that notifies outside of a vehicle of approach of a vehicle, and includes: an original tone generation unit 2 that generates an original tone of an approach sound with which approach of a vehicle can be imagined; a modulated tone generation unit 4 that generates a modulated tone from the original tone; a sound pressure designation unit 5 that designates a sounding sound pressure of the approach sound of the modulated tone; a loudspeaker 6 through which the approach sound of the modulated tone is radiated to outside the vehicle at the designated sounding sound pressure; an obstacle detection unit 7 that detects an obstacle outside the vehicle; an avoiding manipulation detection unit 9 that detects whether a driver has performed an avoiding manipulation so as to allow the vehicle to avoid the obstacle; and a control unit 10 that controls at least one of the modulated tone generation unit 4 and sounding pressure designation unit 5 so that the approach sound can be varied before and after the avoiding manipulation is performed. |
