The heating station (1) comprises a lower tool (3) and an upper tool (5) that are displaced relative to each other into an open position and a closed position. A receptacle holds a to-be heated metal sheet, where the lower tool and/or the upper tool comprises an inductor that is fixed relative to its associated tool adapter. The inductor is electrically insulated from its associated mold part. The upper tool and the lower tool are displaceable relative to each other in a direction of a processing axis (P) of the heating station, where the heating station is designed as a pressing tool. A receptacle holds a to-be heated metal sheet, where the lower tool and/or the upper tool comprises an inductor that is fixed relative to its associated tool adapter.
