Use of a hair treatment composition for promoting or enhancing the growth of hair, reducing hair loss, activating the hair root cells, activating the hair follicles and/or thickening the hair, is claimed. The composition comprises at least one extract of Pisum sativium and at least one oligopeptide (I) having at least one amino acid sequence, where the free or protonated amino group and carboxyl groups are free or deprotonated. Use of a hair treatment composition for promoting or enhancing the growth of hair, reducing hair loss, activating the hair root cells, activating the hair follicles and/or thickening the hair, is claimed. The composition comprises at least one extract of Pisum sativium and at least one oligopeptide of formula (I) having at least one amino acid sequence (Glu-Glu-Glu), where the free or protonated amino group and carboxyl groups are free or deprotonated.
