PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat reclining device capable of effectively preventing a rotary cam from being deformed or broken by force transmitted from a rotary central shaft to the rotary cam in rotating the rotary central shaft.SOLUTION: A seat reclining device includes: lock members 36, 37 movable between a meshing position where an external tooth 40 formed on an outer peripheral part meshes with an internal tooth 63 of a ratchet plate 57 and a non-meshing position spaced from the internal tooth to an inner peripheral side; a rotary cam 47 having a through hole 48 where a rotary central shaft 51 penetrates and turned between a lock position for locating the lock member at the meshing position and an unlock position for locating the lock member at the non-meshing position; and a flange 54 rotated together with the rotary central shaft. One of a part located at an outer peripheral side of the through hole of the rotary cam and the flange is provided with a detent projection 47a projected toward the other side, and the other of the part located at the outer peripheral side of the through hole of the rotary cam and the flange is provided with detent holes 55a, 55b, 55c where the detent projection engages. |
