PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a lamp or a lighting circuit from being failed or having a shorter service life, which is caused by application of an overvoltage to the lamp, by preventing an output voltage of the lighting circuit from increasing, even if the lamp is removed during operation of the lighting circuit and the lamp is re-connected immediately.SOLUTION: A detector (a detection metal fitting) detects that a lamp 20 is at a connection position 94. When the detector detects that the lamp 20 is at the connection position 94, a lighting circuit outputs lighting power for lighting the lamp 20. When the lamp 20 is between a passage position 92 and a connection position 94, a feeding terminal comes into contact with a power receiving terminal of the lamp for electrical connection and supplies lighting power output by the lighting circuit to the lamp 20. |
