PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair capable of regulating a seat from moving in the lateral direction to a seat support frame as a seat support member, and largely securing an amount of bending deformation to the lower side of the seat to improve the seating comfort.SOLUTION: The lower surface of one side part of a back plate 12 a little inside from a fitting groove 25 of the back plate 12 is provided with a movement regulating part 28 for regulating the lateral movement of the back plate 12 by abutting on or approaching the side of an upward projecting part 14 provided on the top face of a seat supporting frame 11 with the fitting groove 25 fitted in an outward fitting piece 23 of the seat supporting member 11. The lower surface of the other side part of the back plate 12 is served as a deformation allowing part 29 for allowing sideward bending deformation of the back plate 12 to the seat supporting frame 11. |
