PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive-lead type zoom lens which is well corrected for deformation aberration over an entire zoom range.SOLUTION: A zoom lens of the present invention includes, in order from the expansion side to the reduction side, a first lens group which has positive refractive power and is stationary when zooming, a second lens group which has negative refractive power and moves when zooming; a diaphragm; a variable magnification lens group which has positive refractive power and moves when zooming; and a final lens group which has positive refractive power and is stationary when zooming. When zooming from the wide angle end to the telephoto end, the second lens group moves toward the reduction side while the variable magnification lens group moves toward the expansion side. The variable magnification lens group includes a cemented lens which comprises, in order from the expansion side, a negative lens and a positive lens cemented together, where a cemented surface is convex toward the expansion side. The zoom lens satisfies predefined conditions. |
