PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ball chain having a fail-safe function.SOLUTION: A ball chain is formed by molding and fixing balls of synthetic resin on a cord at equal intervals and is made endless by connecting both ends of the ball chain. A connection part 16 has a fitting part in the same shape with the balls, and the fitting part comprises a first fitting part 21 having a shaft-like fitting projection 22 and a second fitting part 25 having a fitting hole 26 in which the fitting projection 22 can be fitted, the fitting projection 22 being elastically fitted in and removed from the fitting hole 26.
