PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate membrane element having new structure capable of realizing a protective effect on a nozzle part projecting upward from a filter plate without increasing the size of welding equipment and drastically increasing the production cost.SOLUTION: There is used a filter plate 20 made of thermoplastic synthetic resin. There are formed rectifying projections 50, 50 projecting upward on both sides of nozzle part 40 arranged at the upper edge part of filter plate 20. The upper side of at least one of the rectifying projections 50 is configured as an inclined upper side 52 projecting largely outward in a gradual manner from its distal side to its proximal side relative to the nozzle part 40.
