An energy management system (EMS) is provided with: a transmitter for transmitting an identification-information request message for requesting identification information that identifies a device; a receiver which receives, from the device, an identification-information notification message including the identification information; and a controller which manages the device on the basis of the identification information. The identification information is invariable information uniquely determined in a wireless circuit.
