A SYSTEM AND A METHOD FOR PROCESSING EVENTS OCCURRING IN AN ENVIRONMENT

A system (1) for processing events (2) occurring in an environment includes a set of system components, a data interface and a processor. The set of system components (3) captures characteristics of the environment and processes the characteristics to produce data (4). The data interface (5) receives data (4) from the system components (3) and integrates the data (4) on a temporal basis of capturing of the characteristics to produce a sequence (6) of events (2). Each event (2) is integration of data (4) from system components (3) at a particular instance of time. The processor (7) receives the sequence (6) of events (2), captures a sub-sequence (8) of events (2) from the sequence (6) of events (2) and analyzes the sub-sequence (8) of events (2) by identifying an occurrence of a local pattern (9) within the sub-sequence (8) of events (2).
