<p>Provided is a printing device capable of printing while maintaining a balance between structural simplification and print quality even when, due to structural simplification, the movement control of the overall printing system is not highly precise. An area indicator, which represents, within the imaging area of a camera, an intended printing area that is to be printed and for which the relative positional relationship with the print head (25) has been predetermined, is provided; print control data including the print information to be printed in the intended printing area is acquired; printing is performed in the intended printing area on the basis of the print control data; and the printing system (PS) is moved, after completion of printing in the intended printing area, to provide the printing system for printing in the next intended printing area. The print control data here is print control data generated by identifying the position of the intended printing area on the printing paper (P) using the relative positional relationship between the imaging area of the camera and the printing paper (P) and the relative positional relationship between the imaging area and the area indicator.</p> |
