Aspects of the invention are related to systems and methods for creating activity data of a worker. The invention can include a sensor module configured to sense the motions of a worker and generate worker acceleration data related to the sensed motions of the worker and an analysis module configured to analyze the worker acceleration data, and generate worker activity data from the worker acceleration data. The sensor module can includes one or more inertial sensors, and can be positioned on a body of the worker. The invention can also include a storage module, wherein the worker activity data is stored in the storage module. Further, the invention can also include a comparison module, configured to compare the worker activity data to benchmark activity data, wherein the benchmark activity data is previously stored in a storage module.
