PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect an abnormality of a voltage monitoring device for detecting the voltage of an electricity storage device constituted of a plurality of electricity storage modules.SOLUTION: An electricity storage system includes: an electricity storage device in which a plurality of electricity storage modules are serially connected; a voltage monitoring device for detecting the voltage of each of the electricity storage modules; and a controller for detecting an abnormality of the voltage monitoring device. The voltage monitoring device includes: a first detection part and a second detection part for, when one or more electricity storage modules are constituted as a detection block, detecting the voltage of each detection block; and a third detection part for, when a first detection block whose voltage is detected by the first detection part and a second detection block whose voltage is detected by the second detection part are constituted as a third detection block as a whole, detecting the voltage of the third detection block. Then, the controller compares the voltage detected by each of the first detection part and the second detection part with the voltage detected by the third detection part to detect an abnormal state of each detection part. |
