PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement operation of a media interface to provide bidirectional communications.SOLUTION: An embodiment of a method according to the present invention includes connecting a first device to a second device via a media interface that includes a plurality of communication channels for unidirectional data transmission and is in compliance with a media protocol. The method further provides configuring the first device and the second device for bidirectional data transmission to be conducted according to a network protocol, and transmitting bidirectional data between the first device and the second device via the media interface. |
