PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging apparatus which is capable of controlling a movable part which can be press-retained in an arbitrary position with respect to a fixed part from the arbitrary position where press-retaining is released.SOLUTION: The imaging apparatus includes a first fixed member 10, a movable part 30 which can be moved with respect to the first fixed member 10 through a rolling element 13 and in which an optical element or an imaging element 36 is arranged, movable part driving means 70 including at least a coil 40 arranged in one of the first fixed member 10 and the movable part 30 and a magnet 20 arranged in the other and driving the movable part 30, when a current is applied to the coil 40, a second fixed member 50 arranged on the side opposite to the first fixed member 10 across the movable part 30, and pressing means 3, 4, and 5 arranged in the second fixed member 50, pressing the movable part 30 in a direction perpendicular to the moving direction of the movable part 30 in the arbitrary position where the movable part 30 is stopped, when the current is not applied to the coil 40, and are separated from the movable part 30, when the current is applied to the coil 40. |
